Workplace Conflict
I have an NVQ task about handling conflict at work. The example is about two workers who disagree over how a job should be completed. I think the manager should listen to both sides before making a decision, but I am unsure what other steps should be included. I noticed the phrase hire expert for NVQ assignments while searching for ideas, although I want to complete the task myself. What would be a fair way to solve this problem? Should the manager speak to each worker separately first? Any advice would help.

Speaking to each worker separately first is a good step, because it gives them space to explain their side without feeling pressured. After that, the manager can bring them together, focus on the job rather than personal blame, and agree on a clear way forward that both can accept.
